Anime Fan Art Friday

Anime fans love creating content of their favorite shows and characters, whether that be painting and drawing characters, or dressing up in awesome cosplay. With so many awesome shows available to stream on many streaming services, the possibilities are endless. This week in the anime world we received new episodes of loved shows, such as Naruto Shippuden, as well as debuts of new anime such as Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid. We here at Comicbook.com want to celebrate anime fans’ creativity and show you some of the best fan art we saw this week!

One Punch Mona Lisa Takeover

ONEEEE PUNCHHHHHHHHH! Sorry that title song is just way too catchy… This awesome fake painting of the Mona Lisa with Saitama’s head started popping up all over the internet last year, but this week the user known as ItsTheLeviathan took it to a whole new level. The user used an impressive process to bring this picture to life. In the title of the picture itself, he commented “I vectorized, printed on canvas, textured, and framed a 3 foot tall painting of One Punch Man.” This impressive masterpiece would make any One Punch Fan drool, and how can you not laugh when looking at it.

Fullmetal Alchemist Tattoo

Fullmetal Alchemist holds a special place in my heart, and still sits as one of the top anime series ever in my book. But all politics aside, all anime fans can appreciate a good FMA tattoo. The reddit user Pyroguy174 showed off the amazing work of finished artwork on his arm that features the evil side of the FMA series. Check it out here

HIbike Euphonium Drawing

Hibike Euphonium has been the subject many fan art creations recently of all shapes and sizes. But Twitter user NoriZCI made an awesome drawing of the characters in a creative and awesome style. Gundam Cosplay

Anime Impulse 2017 took place in LA last weekend and with every con, there are many great cosplays. D-slim Cosplay came out with an awesome Gundam Wing cosplay, and let’s just say it is unbelievable. It features giant gundam wings, perfect bright colors, and oh it’s giant gun. See for yourself below.

Casual Levi Drawing

Attack on Titan is one of the most popular anime series to come out last year, and as you can imagine, there has been many fan creations of the main characters. But one artist, Sam-Baten has taken a cool modern take on Levi. Instead of just drawing Levi in his military attire, he did a modern day casual take on the character, and it turned out awesome!
