With summer ramping up, wedding season has fallen upon the world with a loud squawk. The case of ‘June Brides’ is true outside of the U.S, and the lovestruck phenomena has got some anime fans wishing someone would put a ring on it. Renowned for his sarcasm, Gintoki lives job-to-job and gets smacked occasionally for his dirty jokes. However, underneath his dumb exterior, Gintoki is beloved for his desire to help others. The fighter will step in and lay his life down for those who need it, and his childish personality only adds to his layered charms.

Roy Mustang

Roy Mustang may appear like someone who has everything together, but that could not be further from the truth. The Fullmetal Alchemist lead is known as a war hero, but his outward self makes him appear vain and shallow. However, fans of the anime quickly learn the narcissistic act is all a front. Underneath the veneer, Roy is a masterful tactician and loyal friend. His interactions with his subordinates like Riza Hawkeye and Maes Hughes show Roy for who he really is – and it’s someone which girls have fallen for in droves.

Makoto Tachibana

For those of you who want a gentle spouse, then Free! Iwatobi Swim Club has just the guy for you. The bromantic anime features four leads, and Makoto Tachibana is the show’s most swoon-worthy fellow. The older swimmer is known for his small smile and motherly personality. Makoto may scare easily, but the student loves even easier. Despite a traumatic family history, Makoto stands as one anime’s most sensible leads, and his warm actions have snatched the hearts of thousands already.
