It may have taken a couple of decades, but it looks like Cell has met his match in someone who isn’t Gohan. Thanks to the folks at Team Four Star, fans can see what might happen if the artificial baddie were to come face-to-face with Deadpool, and Cell discovers just how annoying an opponent can be.

Recently, the popular parody channel released its latest installment of its Dragon Ball Abridged series, and the new story is one many fans have waited for. The new episode is titled “Deadpool VS Cell,” and the name is about as self-explanatory as it get.

“Deadpool has been contracted to take down the world’s deadliest villain! Will Cell survive until the #CellGames? Spoilers: Yes. But at least enjoy the right as DEADPOOL meets DRAGONBALL Z!” Team Four Star described the video, but the summary does little justice to the video’s humor.

When the episode begins, fans meet up with Cell as the Dragon Ball villain waits for the Cell Games to begin. The baddie is seen contemplating whether he should spare Betty White’s life when he destroys Earth, but he gets interrupted when Deadpool makes his abrupt introduction. Cell casually swipes at the hero with a move that would kill any other mortal such as – say – Krillin.

“Pretty sure I just manslaughtered Spider-Man,” Cell notes. However, when Deadpool gets back up, the mercenary is not too tickled at being mistaken for his friend.

As the video continues, fans can watch as Cell grows gradually frustrated with Deadpool’s “lols so random” behavior. The baddie recognizes the mercenary as one of those “X-Mans,” but he is not pleased with Deadpool continues to come back to life after Cell finishes killing the mutant. You can see for yourself how many times the mouthy villain gets offed by Cell before Wolverine calls his sometimes ally for help with a Code Phoenix back at Professor Xavier’s school.

This is not the first villain which Dragon Ball Abridged has crossed over. Cell has fought other characters such as One Punch Man, Yami, Superman, and dozens more over series.

The synopsis of Dragon Ball Super‘s current saga can be read here:

But it is the beginning of universal destruction. Something awaits the winners and losers of this tournament. What will become of this fierce team battle between each universe’s elite warriors?”
