For Dragon Ball fans that cant get enough of the franchise, there is a new game in the works that is going to fill your fighting fantasies. Dragon Ball FighterZ is an upcoming 2D fighting brawlfest that so far looks like it’s going to be the DBZ game that fans have all been waiting for, and it looks the creators are doing their research.

An excited fan has already done a side by side comparison of fights shown in the promo video for FighterZ and the original Dragon Ball Z manga, and it looks like the creators are actual Dragon Ball fans. Dragon Ball Super‘s “Universal Survival” saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami will begin airing the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
