Dragon Ball Super‘s latest episode saw the elimination of not one, but two universes in the Tournament of Power – Universe 2 went out in display of love, while fans were hit hard by the loss of Universe 6, which has delivered some great new Saiyan and Namekian characters (not to mention a favorite God of Destruction).

Now that this exciting stretch of the Tournament of Power is over, we’re taking a cleansing breath and looking ahead to what’s coming next…
“Looking ahead” is a term we use loosely, as the preview for DBS 119 shows Universe 7 going up against the threat of an invisible enemy from Universe 4. It looks as though we’ll finally see the cicada insect warriors Damom and Gamisaras use their invisibility techniques to lure Goku and Co. into ring-out hits, while at the same time we see another Universe 4 team member, Shantsa, using a shadow clone technique to force the Piccolo and Gohan into battling shade versions of eliminated fighters. Given that both techniques play tricks on the eyes, it’s a good thing Universe 7 has an ally who can provide third eye insight…
The Tournament of Power is quickly winding down, and sneak techniques like the ones Quitela and Universe 4 is pulling out, aren’t likely to stop Universe 7’s advancement. As for Jiren? Well, that’s another story…
