Do you like Dragon Ball Z? Are you amazed by the sheer size of Broly’s ripped arm? Well, if you answered yes to those questions, then you better get ready to have your mind blown. While Broly stands as one of the franchise’s most controversial characters, the Legendary Super Saiyan is a well-known figure to both casual and hardcore fans. And, now, it seems like Broly is making his way to the Dragon Ball Super anime.

Not long ago, the first anime preview for Dragon Ball Super’s ‘Universal Survival’ saga was released, and it is action-packed. The stunning footage shows favorite heroes like Goku, Cabba, Vegeta, and more power up and get ready to defend their universes from other unsavory fighters. However, there is one clip that has fans gawping, and it is all because of one woman’s Saiyan transformation.

Just a few seconds into the electrifying preview, fans watch as an petite female turns into a hulking Super Saiyan who looks just like a female Broly. Complete with earrings and a filled-out chest, this so-called Female Broly has the original’s pupiless eyes and blonde-green hair. Fans are unsurprisingly geeking out about the gender-bent character, and the fact that Female Broly can be seen wearing a crop top has long-time anime lovers in a frenzy.

For now, there’s no confirmation that this unfamiliar character has anything to do with Dragon Ball‘s Broly – but their close resemblance is too big to overlook. Fans are wondering whether this unknown female is a resident of Universe 6 along with Cabba, but there’s no denying that Goku and his team of fighters may have a few tough battles ahead of them thanks to Female Broly.

In February, Dragon Ball Super‘s story arc is set to kick off with the ‘Universal Survival’ saga. You can check out the brief synopsis for it below:
