Warning! Spoilers for Dragon Ball Super's 109th episode lie below:

Fans have waited a long time for Dragon Ball Super to make good on a Goku v Jiren episode, and it's about to happen. The anime will return this Saturday with a one-hour special dedicated to Goku's first real battle with the Pride Trooper. And, if a new episode still has anything to say, it is that the new episode will put Batman v Superman to shame.

Over on Twitter, an official still image from "The Ultimate Enemy Approaches Goku! Now, Let Loose! The Killer Spirit Bomb!!" has been making its way around the fans. The image, which can be seen below, shows Goku and Jiren facing one another before their long-awaited battle begins. The Universe 11 warrior looks as forlorn as Batman in the photo, and Goku's straight-face would make even Superman proud.

The episode's still may look like it came straight from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but Dragon Ball Super won't be pulling out any 'Martha' lines. The anime will pit the two fighters against one another after the gods of Universe 11 tell Jiren to take Goku out. The powerful warrior will then accept Goku's request for a one-on-one battle, but the Saiyan won't have an easy time taking Jiren out.

After all, the synopses for Dragon Ball Super's special hint that Jiren is strong enough to accept every one of Goku's blows. The hero's Super Saiyan Blue form will do little to stop Jiren, and Goku will even try to take out the guy with one massive Spirit Bomb. The pair's battle will be one which fans don't want to miss, and DC die-hards will surely appreciate the epic match if not just for its aesthetic.

Just, don't expect Wonder Woman to pop up and side with Goku. If any girl is coming to the Saiyan's side, it will be Caulifla.

Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami also airs the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
