When you are as famous as Vegeta, then you get some weird ads made about you. The Dragon Ball hero is one of Akira Toriyama’s most famous creations, and Japan has a soft spot for the grumpy Saiyan. Vegeta acts as the face of Dragon Ball for fans around the world, but Japan uses the Saiyan and his brood in another special way.

Thanks to Toshiba, Vegeta is a well-known refrigerator spokesman for Japanese consumers. The brand has its own appliance brand known as Vegeta, and the Dragon Ball warrior has lent his face to different ad schemes over the years. Recently, Vegeta stepped back into salesman mode for a new refrigerator ploy, and the Saiyan brought along his whole family.

Startin on July 3rd, Toshiba will launch a new social campaign that informs consumers on how to cook nutritious summer foods. The “Sumer Vegetable Recipe Great Recruitment Campaign” will last throughout the summer, and it will included a retweet campaign on Twitter.

Vegeta and Bulma will help ring in the celebration with a series of new posters for Toshiba. One ad, which can be seen below, shows Vegeta powered up into his Super Saiyan Blue form while Bulma stands off to the side. The woman is seen swaddling Bra, her daughter, while Trunks poses enthusiastically in front of his mom.

If you want to enter the contest for yourself, you will need to be from Japan. Contestants just have to tweet out images of veggie dishes they make this summer with the campaign’s corresponding hashtag.

The synopsis of Dragon Ball Super‘s current saga can be read below:

“According to an invitation that Goku gets, Zen-Oh (Omni King) is starting a martial arts tournament between all the universes called “Chikara no Taikai” (Tournament of Power). Dragon Ball Super‘s “Universal Survival” saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami airs the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
