The sketch above teases the upcoming release of season three of the My Hero Academia, and features a fierce Midoriya sketch with a slick blue, red, and yellow overtones that add in additional layers of depth.
The third season of My Hero Academia will air starting in April 2018 on YTV every Saturday in Japan at 5:30 p.m. local time. This time slot not only is a spot confirming its popularity in Japan, but a spot that hints at the fact the third season will be at least 20 episodes long.
The third season will adapt the “School Trip” arc. The arc follows Class 1-A as they go on a summer training trip to the Forest of Magic Beasts where they must hone their powers under the guidance of Aizawa and pro-heroes The Pussycats. But with the League of Villains still moving forward with their nefarious plans, Izuku finds himself pitted against the baddies when they come to kidnap one of his classmates.
If you’re eagerly awaiting the next season of the series, it recently recently a new poster teasing the season as well as another image teasing the season during its official announcement. If that’s not enough, why not lookup Horikoshi’s original one-shot Barrage? Then, of course, is the currently running manga series that has just wrapped the arc beyond this, the “Internship” arc.
For those unfamiliar with My Hero Academia, the series was created by Kohei Horikoshi and has been running in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, who lives in a world where everyone has super powers but he was born without them. Dreaming to become a superhero anyway, he’s eventually scouted by the world’s best hero All Might and enrolls in a school for professional heroes. The series has been collected into 15 volumes so far, and has been licensed by Viz Media for an English language release since 2015.
