The first story arc can make or break and anime series. It has to hook the audience in, lay down the foundation for character development, and leave fans wanting more. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations started it’s very first story arc with a bang, and from the upcoming episode titles, it looks like the arc will be ending strong as well.

Although it isn’t official that the story arc will be ending in just six episodes, from the episode title, it seems like the first arc will be ending after episode six. The sixth episode is titled, “The Last Lesson…!!!”, but unlike the rest of the episode up this point no summary available yet.
Even though there is no summary for the episode, the title itself reveals a lot. Following the arrival of Mitsuki the episode before, there will be a big lesson revealed. Whether that lesson is for just Boruto, of for all of the students in the Academy it can be assumed that this foreboding lesson ends the first story arc and launches the new one. We will just have to wait and see what the big lesson is on May 10.
