When it comes to Naruto, plenty of spin-off projects have sprouted out from Masashi Kishimoto’s beloved franchise. Over the years, everything from video games to novelty soaps have been created for the shonen series, and Japan has no plans to stop running with Naruto. Not long ago, new broke that a third run of a live-action Naruto musical would be touring around Japan. Now, fans can see exactly what the show will have in store for them as character photos of Naruto, Sasuke, and Itachi have just been released.

The official website for the Live Spectacle Naruto productions share photos of its three leads. The new run of musicals will be titled Live Spectacle Naruto: The Akatsuki Investigation, and they cover content from the manga’s 27th volume onwards.
As for the character photos, the live-action actors do look very similar to their anime counterparts. Kลdai Matsuoka will play Naruto Uzumaki while Ryลซji Satล takes the role of Sasuke Uchiha. The elder Uchiha brother will be played by Shinji Rachi. The website also paired the photo update with a video of the musical that shows the three actors in action. The pictures can be seen in our photo gallery below!
If you want to see the musical for yourself, then you better get tickets to the show and to Tokyo. The production will be housed at the AiiA 2.5 Theater in Tokyo between May 19 and June 4. It will then run in Osaka between June 16-22 before returning to Tokyo in July. The show will then end on August 6.

The first live-action Naruto musical began back in March 2015 in Tokyo before it went abroad in Macau, Malaysia, and Singapore. A year later, a second musical was performed in Osaka and then Tokyo.
