Extreme Makeover Home Edition Comic Book

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is getting the comic book treatment from Marvel Custom Solutions. In the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Season Finale, the star designers of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition get turned into superheroes to carry out a marvel-ous home renovation. In the episode, a family with a young boy with a rare disability is featured. Young Patrick Sharrock has brittle bone disease, but he possesses a super heroic mix of humor, perseverance, and a positive attitude. In order to pay tribute to the hero in Patrick, Ty Pennington, Xzibit, Ed Sanders, Eduardo Xol, and Leigh Anne Tuohy turn into superheroes. Earth's Mightiest Designers help create a new home school classroom for Patrick based around his very own superhero alter ego. Also, Marvel artist Todd Nauck illustrates the design team's heroic journey. "With his shining heart and unbreakable spirit, Patrick is an inspiration to all of us here at Marvel," said Marvel editor Bill Rosemann. "It was an honor for everyone involved to do our small part to help bring his dreams to life. Captain America, Thor, and the rest of our mighty crime-fighters salute Patrick and the entire Sharrock family, who are our true heroes." Brady Connell, who is Executive Producer of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, explained, "From the second we told them about Patrick Sharrock, Marvel Custom Solutions was committed to creating a comic book framework for this unique episode. Their top artists transformed some of our traditional scenes, and made the show feel like a comic book come to life. Patrick and his father, both comic fans, will love it when they see it!" The Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Season Finale airs on ABC at 8 PM ET on Sunday, May 15, 2011,
