To the surprise of most fans, it appears as though Geoff Johns and Jeff Lemire’s Trinity War storyline will not have a stand-alone miniseries associated with it and will only very loosely be an “event” story. That’s the word from the writers themselves, who tell USA Today that the story will be a six-parter taking place in the July and August issues of Justice League, Justice League of America and Justice League Dark.”We really want to find and carve out the Justice League corner of the DC Universe,” Johns said. “It is a universe all itself with these three teams, and it feels big enough to be worthy of a Justice League story.”But don’t let the manageable size of the story convince you it’ll have a beginning, middle and end.
