X-Men: Days of Future Past Writer Chris Claremont Taking on Nightcrawler at Marvel

Chris Claremont, writer of X-Men: Days of Future Past and one of the most beloved Marvel Comics writers of all time, will take on the adventures of the recently-resurrected Nightcrawler, according to a new teaser image from Marvel Comics. Fan-favorite artist Todd Nauck will draw the series. You can check out his take on Nightcrawler below, in a sketch he did for his blog in 2010. Nightcrawler was created by Len Wein and Dave Cockrum, but many of his most memorable adventures took place during Claremont's long and best-selling run on the X-Men titles. Now, this could TECHNICALLY be somebody besides Nightcrawler, since it doesn't say the word, but given the sound effect used in the teaser and the coloring, it would be a shock.
