Lex Luthor will join–and, depending on who you ask, lead–the Justice League starting in April’s Justice League #30, DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer (and series writer) Geoff Johns has told the Associated Press.”The Justice League is going to go through a lot of changes, obviously, in the wake of Forever Evil,” Johns explained. “A lot of the blame can be put on their shoulders for what has happened: They were infiltrated and they fought each other and that led to the unleashing of the Crime Syndicate and the evil that took over the world.”As it has been since the launch of Forever Evil, there’s an element of exploring the shades of gray that exist in the world, with “good” and “evil” not being as clear-cut as they were before and characters “seeing what kind of heroes it will take to not just protect the world, but defend the world,” Johns said.
