And boy did we get it.

Here are the five best moments from the new trailer. Yes, you can already guess what the last one is, we know, we know…

Superman Statue!

A Superman Statue is a staple in Metroplolis, though this one seems to have a very different connotation.

The statue seen in the early moments of the trailer seems to be a memorial. It’s an interesting pose, and the fact that it’s a memorial, presumably to all those lost in Superman’s battle with Zod – of which he’s at least partially culpable – is very interesting as well.

That Bruce Wayne Grin

“What’s your position on the Bat vigilante in Gotham?”

A picture’s worth a thousand words, and so is a grin. This one shot is all you need to see to know that Ben Affleck is Bruce Wayne here.

Every Second of Lex Luthor

It was really hard to tell from the first trailer what Jesse Eisenberg would do with the character of Lex Luthor. His interviews on the subject were either foot-in-mouth-disease moments or just equally cryptic at best.

Well, now we know, and from this three minute tease, it looks like it’ll be a lot of fun. There was more crazy in this interpretation than maybe we’re used to, but the way he plays it seems to work. This would now be the thing we’re most looking forward to… if it wasn’t for these next two.

The Trinity Unites

Batman. Superman. Wonder Woman. All on one screen, in live action, standing side by side, ready to kick some Doomsday ass.

Oh, and Wonder Woman looks like she saved the day, and like she’s leading the charge, so if you wanted a perfect moment, you’ve got one.

ENTER DOOMSDAY

Every good hero needs a good villain, and while Doomsday was rumored as the baddie that brings our Justice together for a Dawn, or whatever, it’s amazing to see him in action.

Right when you’re getting used to the idea of The Trinity being on the big screen, you see the shots of this monstrous beast, ready to destroy all comers.

And if you see this on your screen and don’t immediately think about how great it will be to see Superman and Wonder Woman attacking this monster at full force, then this movie just probably isn’t for you.
