#1 hits the stands today, and in recognition of the release of Marvel’s first ongoing foray into that popular alternate universe, series writer David Lapham has taken to Twitter to tell fans a little bit more about the world in which the story takes place.Sort of.In a series of comical tweets this morning, Lapham has painted a picture of a world that’s pretty grim–but without actually considering any of the violence, genocide, war, politics or any of the other things that generally define a dystopian world in fiction. Instead, he focuses on the decidedly more day-to-day and the result is a darkly humorous series of observations on the world (to which he has attached the Twitter hashtag #littleknownfactsfromaoa) that we’d like to see added to Marvel’s Age of Apocalpse “bible” and made canon.
