Warner Brothers never officially announced that Heard landed the coveted role, but now the 29-year-old actress has confirmed she got the part and will appear in Justice League as well as the Aquaman solo film.
She’s even tried on Mera’s costume and provided some tantalizing details. “It’s interesting. It’s like, half suit of armor, half scales,” Heard told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s strange… We’re in the process of building it now, so it’s coming along.”
Listen to Heard’s comments in the video below.
Justice League Part One will open in theaters November of 2017. Aquaman will swim into theaters July 27, 2018.
