Even though Miles Morales missed out on the original Secret Wars, he’s still joining in on the 1984 series’ marketing bonanza.

Well, sort of. Miles is getting the clamshell packaging treatment this May via a variant cover to Ultimate End #1. Ultimate End, a Secret Wars tie-in series, will chronicle the Ultimate Universe’s final days before the multiverse’s incursion wipes it out of existence. (But don’t worry, Miles will still keep it swinging on Secret Wars’ Battleworld).
The variant cover, revealed by series scribe Brian Michael Bendis, packages Miles like the original Secret Wars tie-in action figures Marvel and Hasbro sold during the maxi-series’ publication.
Ultimate End #1 (of 5), written by Bendis and illustrated by Mark Bagley, hits comic shops this May. And we don’t know about you guys, but we wish we had a Secret Spider-Shield.
