The Knoxville Comic & Anime show takes place on June 18 & 19 in Knoxville, Tennessee at the Holiday Inn Cedar Bluff. Admission is only $5 per day, and the show opens at 10 AM on Saturday and 11 AM on Sunday. The Knoxville Comic & Anime Show features a film festival, an Eric Stuart concert, comic trivia contest, and door prizes. Guests include an Invader Zim reunion, Zombies from the Walking Dead, and various comic artists and writers.
The Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con will feature more than 270 comics creators from around the world. The Philadelphia Comic Con runs from Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. One of the unique parts of the Philadelphia Comic Con is the international presence, which includes appearances by Carlos Pacheco (Spain), Mick Oosterveer (Denmark), Humberto Ramos (Mexico), Doug Braithwaite (England), Edgar Delgado “Pato” (Mexico), Francisco Herrera (Mexico) and more.
To celebrate the new Green Lantern movie, more than 20 artists who have worked on the Green Lantern franchise are scheduled to appear at the Philadelphia Comic Con. Celebrities scheduled to appear include Bruce Campbell, Adam Baldwin, Bill Goldberg, Pam Grier, Vivica A. Fox, Julie Benz and Billy Dee Williams. Philadelphia Comic Con hours are Friday (noon – 8 PM), Saturday (10 AM – 7 PM), and Sunday (10 AM to 5 PM).
