, a new animated webseries featuring the characters from NBC’s fan-favorite sitcom Community, debuts today on the official Community website and on Hulu. The three part story will run daily, concluding on Friday. The show, which has been on hiatus since December, returns to television next week. Last week, most of the cast, as well as the show creator and a few other producers, attended a panel at the Paley Festival on Sunday to discuss the new season and screen their March 15 episode for a group of fans in the theater that night.Co-star Jim Rash, who plays the dean of the college where the show takes place, recently won a (shared) Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay (for the Alexander Payne film The Descendants), and made headlines by mimicking Angelina Jolie’s awkward, leggy pose just moments after she had done it. Rash’s character was responsible for the last time the cast went animated, with a tag at the end of last season’s episode “Paradigms of Human Memory,” (dubbed by fans as “the clip show,” since it parodies that old sitcom trope) but that time around it was Rash providing all of the characters’ voices. In Abed’s Master Key, each of the actors steps behind the microphone to voice their own character.
