Eight shows on Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, Logo and Spike will air nothing but customized Deadpool commercials for a three hour block on Monday night. Over the weekend, the networks will air ads “warning” viewers of Deadpool’s takeover.

“It’s the biggest takeover stunt we’ve ever done with a partner,” Dario Spina, executive vice president of Viacom’s Velocity marketing team, told The Wrap.

One of the shows effected by the campaign is a favorite of Wade Wilson’s, Golden Girls on Logo.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller, with a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T. J. Miller, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapiฤiฤ‡, and Leslie Uggams.
