Devon Aoki Cast As Katana In Arrow Season 3

Model and actress Devon Aoki has joined the cast of Arrow as Tatsu Yamashiro, a.k.a. Katana, according to Deadline. Aoki has previously appeared in films including 2 Fast 2 Furious and Sin City.

Katana derives her name from her Japanese blade, which absorbs and allows her to communicate with the souls of anyone she kills with it. She is a master martial artist and samurai warrior.

In Arrow, Katana will be seen in flashback sequences as one of Oliver Queen’s mentors. Katana is said to be a critical influence on Oliver’s journey to becoming Arrow.
