Ronda Rousey is the reigning queen of pop culture fandom these days. After the prolific Ultimate Fighting Champion bruiser stunned the world (and her opponent) with a crushing 34-second match, she went for the one-two punch of revealing her inner geek, while also declaring an interest in playing Captain Marvel for Marvel Studios.

That fandom hit a fever-pitch recently, when the actress posted fan art of herself as Marvel’s Carol Danvers. Naturally, it went viral faster than Rousey’s latest round in the ring. Even Kevin Smith wants her in the role. And while we could easily see Rousey suit up for Captain Marvel in 2018, there are plenty of other comic book heroines that she could bring to life. Ahead, we chart out the budding actress’ best bets for comic book movie stardom.

Angela

Thor’s godly sister is one of the Marvel Universe’s fiercest warriors, so it’s only natural that Midgard’s greatest fighterย portray her.ย  Rousey clearly has the rage needed to bring Angela’s patented ferocity to life–making a clash with Asgard’sย migtiest all-too easy to imagine? A ย fight between her and Thor would certainly be one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most intense moments, making that Hulk V. Hulkbusterย skirmish look like Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots.

Or, Rousey’s Angela could take the slightly comedic route and join the Guardians of the Galaxy, as the character recently did in the comics. Watching Star-Lord fail to schmooze the hard-nosed Rousey would be nothing short of hilarious. Besides, the Guardians need a little more female representation than just Gamora.ย

Supergirl

Rousey has already gone Super Saiyan, so why can’t she go Super…girl? Melissa Benoist is bringing a softer side to Supergirl on TV this fall, but there’s still plenty of room for a high budget, studio film version of the character. That’s where Rousey could come in. Assuming that the Man of Steelย franchise eventually introduces Kara Zor-El, Rousey could offer a much tougher, action-intensive take on the character. Rousey has the grit and rigorโ€”as we saw in Furious 7โ€”to exist in Zack Snyder’s hard-fisted DC Universe. Henry Cavill can’t have all the fun, now.ย

Artemis

But if Krypton doesn’t have a place for Rousey, then maybe Paradise Island does. Artemis, one of Wonder Woman’s closer Amazonian compatriots, could be the perfect DC Comics plug for Rousey. Who wouldn’t want to see Rouseyย tussle with a Hydra, or tackle the Cyclops? Beyond the fact that Rouseyย is pretty much an Amazonian warrior already, the role could be a great way for the actress to refine her acting chops. A supporting role like Artemis’ could easeย Rouseyย into the world of monster blockbusters, while also giving her an important and enduring role in the Wonder Woman franchise. And since we already know Rousey can use her fists to deadly effect, we’d love to see what she can do with a bow-and-arrow.ย

Green Lantern Arisia

Now that Warner Bros. has revealed Green Lantern film plans including the entire Green Lantern Corp., we hope to see a rich and diverse cast of ring-slingers. Along with Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, and John Stewart, we also want a female Green Lantern protecting the cosmos. The most recognizable female Green Lantern, arguably, is Arisia, an alien GL who’s existed in the mythos for decades. Rousey could make for a perfect Arisia, delivering that fine balance between power and grace that every Green Lantern needs to wield a ring. And let’s be realโ€”Rousey probably has more willpower than every other Green Lantern combined, making her a perfect candidateย Green Lantern candidate. The budding actress hasn’t put any science fiction experience under her belt yet, making Green Lantern a perfect entry point to the world of aliens, exotic planets, and more. And if there’s anyone who could punch that smug smirk of off Sinestro’s face, it’s Rousey.ย

She-Hulk

While Marvel gives Hulk the full-CGI treatment in its movies, She-Hulk would need no such computer wizardry if Rousey took the role. Rousey already has Jennifer Walters sleek-but strong build, so all Marvel would really need to do is throw some green make-up on the actress and let her rip.

Dismantlingย tanks and alien invaders alike would just be another day in the office for Rousey’s She-Hulk, but we would be especially interested in the actresses performance as Walters The Civilian. Rousey has the strength and confidence that Walters utilizes to extreme effect in her day job as a lawyer, so we have no doubt the actress could rock a court room like wrestling arena.ย
