Hudson, who’s currently recurring on CBS’ drama series Scorpion, is set to guest star in one episode of TV Land comedy Hot In Cleveland, as well as a multi-episode arc on Netflix’s new comedy Grace And Frankie, according to Deadline.
On Hot In Cleveland, Hudson will play a character’s ex-husband who suddenly reappears to help her come to terms with their once-embarrassing legacy. That episode is slated to air in 2015.
After that, he’ll join Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda in Grace And Frankie. He’ll play a love interest for Tomlin’s Frankie, in a multi-episode arc for debut in 2015.
