James Cameron is, quite literally, the most successful director in Hollywood. He is the director behind the highest-grossing movie of all time, Avatar, and the second highest-grossing movie of all time, Titanic. Of course, science fiction fans may remember him better for helming The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
Cameron’s other notable sci-fi installment is Aliens. And in a fun bit of trivia, he “directed” a blockbuster Aquaman film in Entourage’s fictional universe on HBO. Born in Ontario, Canada, Cameron turns 61 today. Happy Birthday, James Cameron!
