Today is actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s birthday.
Known by many fans as The Comedian/Edward Blake, Morgan played Alan Moore’s twisted anti-hero in Zack Snyder’s film adaptation of Watchmen. But Morgan should also register in comic fans’ minds as Clay in The Losers, the film adaptation of another Vertigo series.

Morgan has also appeared in The Possession, The 2012 Red Dawn remake, and Supernatural. He even made an uncredited cameo as Jeb Turnbull in 2010’s Jonah Hex film…but maybe he’s better off not being officially associated with that movie.
Born in Seattle, Washington, Morgan turns 49 today. Happy Birthday, Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
