Born in Phoenix, AZ, Lynda is the daughter of Juanita and Colby Carter. Interested in acting, Lynda debuted on public television when she was only 5-years-old on Lew King’s Talent Show before she set her sights on music as well. However, before Lynda got her breaking role as Wonder Woman, the actress found herself in the national spotlight by winning Miss World USA.

Of course, most fans know Lynda from her time on Wonder Woman as she played the titular heroine. The show only lasted three seasons, but the series ran long enough to establish Lynda has a genuine star. Since Wonder Woman aired, DC Comics has named Lynda as one of its honorees in their publication Fifty Who Made DC Great. Dozens of posters, toys, and busts have been made to honor Lynda’s ground-breaking role. And, as actress Gal Gadot prepares to undertake her own Wonder Woman solo film, Lynda has reached out to the newcomer with great approval.
Lynda’s career has extended far beyond her work on Wonder Woman as she’s gone on to star in various films, TV series, and video games. In fact, the actress has provided her voice talents to Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls series to the delight of many.
