In a scenario that couldn’t be any better planned, the grave of a world renowned movie and martial arts icon is being guarded by the perfect Pokemon.

Bruce Lee was known for his amazing martial arts skills and is still regarded as one of the most influential practitioners of the art to this day. Thing is, there’s a Pokemon that also specializes in the art of combat, specifically, kicks, and his name is Hitmonlee. Hitmonlee has spring-like legs that allow him to kick at long distances, an ability that Bruce Lee would probably be envious of.
With the sudden take off of mobile title Pokemon GO, players are searching every nook and cranny for the chance to grab new Pokemon, but they’re also attempting to claim gyms along the way, battling their way to the top so they take control for their team.
It turns out Lee’s grave happens to be the location of one such gym, and a trainer by the name of The Founder Bruce Lee reigns supreme there with the incredibly apt Pokemon Hitmonlee acting as his warrior of choice. Reddit user AznSensAsian caught a screenshot of the duo, which you can see in the gallery.
It’s quite fitting, and if Bruce Lee were to pick a Pokemon to fight by his side, Hitmonlee would certainly be a fantastic choice.
