Along with a new trailer that bowed this morning, focusing primarily on Hit-Girl but also featuring a few moments of dialogue with Jim Carrey’s Colonel Stars and Stripes, the filmmakers behind Kick-Ass have rolled out a pair of new character posters for the film, one for each of those two characters. Also now available – a red-band (age-restricted) version of the Hit-Girl trailer that came out this morning. Basically the same movie, but with more naughty language, it’s not really any more revealing as to the story, but it’s more in keeping with the tone of the comic, and with what you’ll see onscreen.Interestingly, the R-rating means that actress Chloe Grace Moretz, who plays Hit-Girl and is a key component of the film’s marketing campaign, having been a fan-favorite in the first movie, couldn’t attend the film unsupervised (she’s 16).
