Kirby Krackle Sounds Like You

Kirby Krackle, the “nerd rock” duo known for songs like “Ring Capacity” and “Up Up Down Down,” will release their fourth studio album on July 9, just a week before San Diego Comic-Con International and almost exactly a year after their first live album was released last year.No details are available yet as to the content of the album, pre-orders for which will begin in June. However, given that the album is coming out around the time of The Wolverine’s theatrical release, don’t be surprised if there’s a song on the disc that celebrates the ol’ Canucklehead. Wolverine has been referenced in a few Kirby Krackle songs in the past.If you don’t know who the Kirby Krackle are, the band recently opened for Weird Al Yankovic in a concert that can be streamed at FlipOn.tv. Songs from the Weird Al show like “Cozy Pants O’Clock” and “Grandma’s House” will “definitely be on the album,” according to the band’s blog.
