Lauren German, formerly of Chicago Fire, has been cast in Fox’s Lucifer.

German will play the female lead, opposite Tom Ellis’ Lucifer. The pilot for the Fox drama is being written by Tom Kapinos and directed by Len Wiseman.
DC Comics’ version of Lucifer was created by Neil Gaiman in The Sandman, and got his own Vertigo Comics spinoff series written by Mike Carey and drawn by Ryan Kelly and Peter Gross.
The Lucifer pilot is expected to air this fall on Fox.
