Mad Magazine has released a playful public service announcement showing readers the proper way to read Harley Quinn Annual #1. The annual will feature unique “scent-icular” technology that allows readers to smell Harley’s world, including scents like leather, pizza, suntan lotion and “Cannibisylocibe 7-A.”

The PSA clearly equates the annual with a certain, recreational substance, suggested that one might experience memory loss or hunger after reading the issue, and suggesting that it should only be read for medical purposes, and is only legal in certain states.

DC Entertainment co-publisher Dan Didio mentioned the PSA on his Facebook page as a way of easing concerns:

Harley Quinn Annual #1 is written by Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti and illustrated by John Timms, Paul Mounts, Stejepan Sejic, Joe Quinones, Ben Caldwell, Kelley Jones, Rico Renzi and Michelle Madsen. The issue hits stands October 29.
