D3 Go! and Wizards of the Coast have announced Magic: The Gathering – Puzzle Quest, a mobile variant of D3’s popular Puzzle Quest franchise themed after Wizards of the Coast’s seminal trading card game, Magic the Gathering. The game seeks to blend the core match-3 puzzle mechanics of Puzzle Quest with the strategic gameplay and lore of Magic: The Gathering.

Magic: The Gathering – Puzzle Quest will be available to download for free on the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore this fall. Fans will have a chance to play the game ahead of release in the Annex at PAX Prime 2015 in Seattle on August 28-31.

Developed by Hibernum Creations, Magic: The Gathering โ€“ Puzzle Quest casts players as a Planeswalker battling other Planeswalkers in match-3 puizzle combat.
