In celebration of Summer, Marvel Comics has revealed their All American Recommended Reading list.Any All American Recommended Reading list would not be complete without a heavy dose of Captain America. Fans that either missed or want to re-read Ed Brubaker’s successful Captain America series will have the chance with the Death of Captain America Vol. 1 trade paperback, which is currently in comic book stores.Other Captian America related reading includes the Heroes Reborn: Captain America trade paperback by writer Jeph Loeb and artist Rob Liefeld and the Fallen Son Hardcover. Fallen Son tells the story of how the rest of Marvel Universe reacted to the death of Steve Rogers. Fallen Son is written by Jeph Loeb with art by John Cassaday, David Finch, Ed McGuinness, John Romita Jr. and Leinil Francis Yu. The Fallen Son Hardcover is scheduled to arrive in comic book stores on June 24, 2009.But enough about Steve Rogers, how about The Truth.Captain America: The Truth Hardcover tells the story of Isaiah Bradley, an African-American who was an early product of the United States’ Super-Soldier program.
