Several new images from Guardians of the Galaxy have been released online, via Empire Magazine.

The images give us new looks at Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, and Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser. There’s also a shot of James Gunn directing his brother, Sean, who did motion-capture for Rocket Raccoon, as well as a shot of Ronan’s ship, the Black Aster.
In Guardians of the Galaxy, in the far reaches of space, an American pilot named Peter Quill finds himself the object of a manhunt after stealing an orb coveted by the villainous Ronan.
Guardians of the Galaxy comes to theaters August 1.
