DC Comics had said that there would be some creative announcements made at this weekend’s New York Comic Con, and it’s already starting to take shape. On preview day today, DC has announced that Marc Bernardin, creator of Syfy’s Alphas, will be writing Static Shock when John Rozum leaves the title. That was this morning. Just this afternoon, they further announced that former Marvel writer Ann Nocenti will be taking over the writing reins on Green Arrow, which writer J.T. Krul was recently announced to have left.Solicitations for December’s Green Arrow #4 have the title written by Keith Giffen and current series artist Dan Jurgens, who were announced as the ongoing creative team for the title at that time. Whether they will remain on the title in any capacity under Nocenti remains unclear. Giffen and Jurgens have recently been rumored to be taking over Superman from George Prez after February’s sixth issue.
