Now that Paul Feig’s female Ghostbusters reboot is part of Sony Picture’s conceptual Ghostbusters “Universe,” does that mean the famed director will stick around for multiple proton-pack adventures?

It could happen, according to the director. While catching up with Feige at 20th Century Fox’s CinemaCon event, ComicBook.com asked if Feig was interested in helming Ghostbusters sequels with Melissa McCarthy and her band of fellow comedians.

“I have no idea,” Feig responded. “I’ll do my one and see what happens.”

Even though the answer was more of a non-answer, it at least tells us that Feig isn’t immediately dismissing the idea of a sequel. And while on the topic of Ghostbusters, Feig revealed that the film starts principle photography on June 15.

And since it wouldn’t be Hollywood unless he was grilled about all of his possible sequels, we also asked Feig–who also directed The Heat and Bridesmaids–if he’d like to direct a follow-up to this summer’s spy comedy, Spy. This time around, his answer was a little more concrete.

“I’m hoping for that!” he said. “I’ve got these great spies! I’ve gotta put them on new adventures.”

Spy hits theaters June 5, 2015, and you’re gonna call Ghostbusters on July 22, 2016.
