Nintendo has announced that Pokkén Tournament, the Pokémon fighting game, will launch for Wii U on Mar. 18.

Those who purchase a first production run copy of the game will receive a Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card, which unlocks Shadow Mewtwo as a playable character.
The release of Pokkén Tournament is part of the 20th Anniversary Pokémon celebration, and wil follow the re-release of Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow in the Nintendo eShop on Feb. 27.
Nintendo is also releasing a special Pokemon 20th anniversary edition of the Nintendo 3DS handheld system. These special editions come preloaded with all three of the re-released original Pokémon games. The system also releases on Feb. 27.
