A couple days ago, JoBlo reported on who the villain might be in James Wan’s Aquaman movie that will star Jason Momoa as the King of the Seven Seas. Within that same report, they also briefly touched upon the upcoming Green Lantern reboot WB has been developing as well as a possible Teen Titans movie.

Let’s start with the latter. JoBlo claims that a Teen Titans film is being considered by WB and instead of making a Cyborg (will be portrayed by Ray Fisher) solo film, which is scheduled for a 2020 release, the studio would combine the two into one film. Not sure if this make a lot of sense since a Teen Titans live-action television series is still in development at TNT.

As for Green Lantern Corps movie, scheduled for a 2020 release as well, the site describes it as buddy-cop actioner set in space. To be more exact: “Lethal Weapon in space.” And playing the Riggs and Murtaugh roles will be Hal Jordan and John Stewart.

They added: “There is also discussion about including a gay superhero in the DCEU ranks, although according to my sources it’s not something set in stone, but definitely under serious consideration for at least one major character.”

Green Lantern arrives in theaters June 19, 2020.
