Ocean’s 8 will be directed by Gary Ross (The Hunger Games, Seabiscuit), based on a screenplay by Little Women scribe Olivia Milch. Ocean’s Eleven director Steven Soderbergh is producing. Susan Ekins is executive producer and Warner Bros production SVP Jesse Ehrman is overseeing the film with Warner Bros President of Creative Development and Worldwide Production Greg Silverman. Village Roadshow Pictures is co-producing and co-financing the movie.

Paulson, 41, has always been considered a very talented actress; however, in these past five years, mainstream audiences have finally taken notice of her brilliant, multi-layered performances. Also, in that same time frame, she has earned 6 Emmy nominations for her work in Game Change, American Horror Story and People Vs OJ Simpson. While she hasn’t won an Emmy yet, two of those nominations are pending.

Ocean’s 8 will begin filming in October.
