The last time Stan Lee was reported to have cancelled convention appearances due to health concerns, his representatives downplayed the 90-year-old comic book legend’s ailment, which later turned out to be a pacemaker installation.Obviously it’s been a bad flu season, and doctors generally urge caution for any senior citizens or people with health conditions traveling under those circumstances–so it’s possible that Lee’s health concerns are minor and that he’s simply unable to board a plane with a cold right now. After the hysterical health scare that swept the comics industry last time around, ComicBook.com has reached out to representatives for Lee’s Comikaze Expo for a clarification on his condition. We’ll update the story when and if we hear back.
