Top 10 Star Wars Songs Include Prequel Surprises

When it comes to Star Wars scores, you’d be forgiven for ranking the main theme, or even the Imperial March, as the most popular.

But, as the fates (or Force) would have it, that title actually belongs to one of the prequel film’s scores. And not just any prequel, but arguably the worst in Star Wars history. It’s no Jedi Mind trick, but according to Spotify, the most streamed Star Wars song is “Duel of the Fates” from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.”

But before you go kill the closest Gungan in protest, do remember that this song is actually quite epic. As the accompanying tune the climactic battle between Darth Maul, Qui Gon-Jinb, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, it may well be The Phantom Menace‘s sole redeeming quality.
