Tonight, the WWE hosts their 29th annual Royal Rumble from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The Rumble has been a WWE staple since its inception a long standing tradition in the company.

The rules of Rumble are simple: two men start the match, and then another wrestler enters at a set interval (usually 90 seconds), and then another and another, etc, until one last man is standing. You can only be eliminated from the match by being thrown over the top rope and both feet have to hit the ground. There’s been creative ways superstars have avoided elimination, with Kofi Kingston having been the highlight in recent memory.
The reason this year is so special is because the company’s top prize, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, will be decided as the victor of this match. Such a lure was too great for many Superstars and in great Rumble tradition, you have surprise guests show up. Some of those guests are like Mr. Perfect, Rob Van Dam, Diesel, and even Doink the Clown.
This year was no exception as HHH made a surprise appearance in the match as the #30 entrant.
