While your pull list might already be full, there are plenty of books that are worthy of your attention this Wednesday, including the five books highlighted on this list. Whether the book is a great jumping on point, a big finale, or just something different than the predominant superhero fare, there’s something here for everyone. Of course, there are more than five books worth your time this week, so here are a few runners-up that you should definitely check out if your wallet permits.

Family reunions are supposed to be heartwarming and loving affairs, and you typically don’t have to get kidnapped by aliens to attend. Nothing is strange though when it comes to Bill and Ted, and they will certainly make the cosmic festivities entertaining.

Batman #25 kicks off the “War of Jokes and Riddles”, a tale about Batman’s greatest failure. If you liked stories like Year One, you’ll likely find a lot to love here.

Matt Mueller: Aquaman #25
Big changes are in store for the former King of Atlantis, and Aquamanย #25 kicks it all off in style.
Writer Dan Abnettย teams up with the talented Stjepanย Sejicย to showcase an Arthur that is far from royalty and is cutoff from the surface world and his allies Meraย and the Justice League. The way home is going to be rough.

Norgal, Agatha, Zhaania, and Xhoย know not what lies ahead of them, but the only thing they do know for certain is that the way forward will be difficultย and full of enemies lying in wait.

Things get a bit more complicated when that friend is also your ex-girlfriend Kitty Pryde, leader of the X-Men. Throw in a mutant in need of help and you’ve got one dysfunctional rescue mission, something the X-Men are experts at.
