LINE Webtoon is introducing a new series titled “Have You Any Fear?“, a horror anthology series crafted by a talented team of writers and artists designed to frighten anyone who dares read it. The series will take classic nursery rhymes and turn them on their head, revealing the darkness lurking underneath them.

Have You Any Fear?” launches with four chapters, starting with Ring Around the Rosie. The tale is written and drawn by Ben Templesmith, and if you think you are familiar with the classic rhyme, well, you haven’t ever seen it imagined quite like this. Odds are you’ll think of something else next time you hear it.

Chapter 2 is Bobby Shafto’s Gone To Sea, which is written by James Maddox, illustrated by Morgan Beem, lettered by David Stoll, and edited by Bekah Caden. The story weaves a tale of love and pain, illustrated in a beautiful visual style that will stick with you long after.

Chapter 3 takes on the classic Pop Goes The Weasel, and is written and drawn by Gavin Smith, with editing by Bekah Caden. To be fair, Pop Goes The Weasel is already a bit creepy, even when being sung by children (actually, especially if being sung by children), but Smith’s tale takes that creepiness factor even higher.

Chapter 4 is already out as well, titled Ten Little Fingers. The story is written and drawn by Croik and Del, and is one of the most striking pieces visually of the set thus far.

You can check out all four stories on the LINE Webtoon website, as well as the apps on iOS and Google Play. New chapters will appear on the page each Friday, and you can find a preview of the first four comics in the gallery.

The official description for the anthology is below.

Have You Any Fear? is a collection of original stories that explore the sinister and corrupt nature lying under the surface of classic children’s nursery rhymes. Just launched, the first three chapters offer a chilling spin on classics “Ring Around the Rosie,” “Bobby Shafto’s Gone to Sea,” and “Pop! Goes the Weasel.” Additional stories, including “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,” “One, Two, Buckle My Shoe,” “Jack and Jill,” and “Old Mother Hubbard” will debut each Friday.
