Jason Spisak played Kid Flash in Young Justice. He’s reprising the role for the upcoming Teen Titans: The Judas Contract animated movie.
Last night, Spisak tweeted out a clip from Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. The clip appears to be a flashback to Starfire’s arrival on Earth when she first met the Teen Titans. This early version of the team includes Kid Flash on the roster.

In his tweet, Spisak billed the clip as “A tiny taste of Wally…for those who can’t wait for #YJSeason3!” The statement seems to indicate that Spisak will reprise his role as Kid Flash again when Young Justice returns.
This is particularly interesting because the fate of Kid Flash was left ambiguous by the second season finale of Young Justice. In that episode, Kid Flash joined the Flash and Impulse in containing the explosion of an alien bomb using their super speed. However, because Kid Flash was slower than the other speedsters he began siphoning off the excess energy from the weapon and disappeared, apparently physically dissolving from the energy.

Many fans have speculated that Kid Flash’s apparent death would be reversed if Young Justice ever returned, perhaps revealing that Kid Flash entered the Speed Force or was sent to another reality. Now that Young Justice has been renewed for a third season, fans will finally find out, and Spisak’s tweet means things are looking good for Wally West.
Spisak isn’t the only Young Justice cast member to confirm his return for Young Justice Season 3. Khary Payton, who currently appears as King Ezekial on The Walking Dead, will also return to voice Aqualad in Young Justice Season 3.
