Barrowman plays Malcolm Merlyn on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, but he rarely has the chance to tap dance in heels during production. He took the opportunity at Heroes and Villains Fan Fest to put on some white high heels and bust out a few taps, which you can see in the video above.

While he was there he also did a lovely rendition of “Can’t take my eyes off you”. Fans need to enjoy it while they can, as the character met his end in the season 5 finale. Barrowman shared his heartfelt thoughts about leaving the show on Instagram, saying “I love playing Malcolm Merlyn and, you know, that’s it really,” he said. “As sad as it may be, I understand how shows must change and also characters must change and develop, but that doesn’t mean that I’m not very sad and upset about it.”

You can catch the entire Heroes and Villains Fan Fest Q&A panel in the video above.

The battle between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra) culminates in a final epic battle on Lian Yu. After recent events, Oliver decides to recruit a group of unlikely allies โ€“ Slade (guest star Manu Bennett), Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law), Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Digger Harkness (guest star Nick. E. Tarabay) โ€“ to defeat Chase. However, Chase has his own army โ€“ Black Siren (guest star Katie Cassidy), Evelyn Sharp (guest star Madison McLaughlin) and Talia al Ghul (guest star Lexa Doig) โ€“ and the forces collide in an explosive season finale.
