DC’s Titans Rumored To Nab 13 Episode Commitment

Looks like The Titans will be together — for at least 13 weeks.

The fine folks over at TitansTV caught on after Deadline posted an interview with screenwriter and producer Akiva Goldsman.

There isn’t a direct quote from Goldsman on the episode count, but Deadline matter-of-factly reports that the series, with a pilot co-written by Goldsman and DC chief Geoff Johns, has a 13-episode commitment from Warner Bros. Television, who will bring it directly to a planned DC digital app.

That app will also be the first-run home of new episodes of Young Justice, with plenty of other speculation about what content — old, new, live-action, animation, comics, and more — might make its way to the service.

Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.
