David Mazouz is slowly being transformed into Gotham’s Dark Knight protector, but in the meantime, he is taking it upon himself to help out another worthy cause.

Mazouz is currently in Nashville for Heroes and Villains Fan Fest and took some time to sit down with ComicBook.com’s Brandon Davis to talk about a campaign to help homeless pets find a place to live.
“So I recently launched a campaign with a company called Bakdrop. I designed these socks, they have my dogs on them. This is my German Shepherd Delilah (blue) and this is my other Havanese dog Starlet (yellow), and they’re superhero socks.”
Mazouz created the socks with one goal in mind, to help an amazing charity that seeks to find animals a home.
“I’m selling them and 100% of the profit goes to one of my favorite charities who I have been working with a lot over the past few years called Best Friends Animal Society, and they are an incredible organization who immensely help homeless pets. They facilitate adoptions, have super adoptions in LA and New York, and they really advocate for no-kill animal shelter places, and so it’s a cause really close to home and so I’m just trying to do all I can.”
If you want to help support a great cause you can head to Bakdrop’s website here to purchase a pair of blue or yellow themed puppy socks, or you can just grab both. Make sure to do so soon though, as the socks will be available for a limited time.
